Obituary for Balbir Kaur Sidhu

Balbir Kaur Sidhu passed away peacefully on May 14, 2021 at her home which she resided in for the last 42 years surrounded by her family. She is the daughter of the late Mohinder Singh Bagri and the late Gurnam Kaur Bagri. She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Rashpal (Mohinderpal), Balbinder (Navi), Harjinder (Sarb) and Kinder (Nimi), and her husband of 62 years, Beant Sidhu, and 9 grandchildren.
Balbir was born in Smadh Bhai Punjab India. She immigrated to Canada to Powell River BC in 1971. She moved to Abbotsford in 1979 and has raised 4 children and helped run the family farm.
Balbir Kaur was the devoted matriarch of her family, a role she took great pride in and welcomed everyone into her home with open arms. She taught those around her to be kind and compassionate to others and instilled the values of Seva, hard work and unconditional love for all. Her legacy will live on through all those she touched.
