His next chapter included working for the mining industry at Placer Dome in Vancouver, working as a geologist in Snow Lake and then pipelining across the Prairies. In 1994, while pipelining and working part-time for the Casino in Saskatoon, he met his wife-to-be Lisa, and her son, Graham. Together they moved to Abbotsford where they married and started their life together. Brent began his career in the construction industry in BC and built a rich life that included playing rugby with the Abbotsford Rugby Club, boating in and around BC, golfing locally and abroad, travelling with Lisa, as well as playing competitive racquetball that included several National Championships.
In 2011, Brent found and developed his dream land in Mission, BC. It is here that he channeled his creative spirit and vision to develop a beautiful piece of property for himself and his family. Brent loved living in and contributing to the Mission community. He was a former member of Mission Search and Rescue, served on the Mission Golf Club Board of Directors and enjoyed his membership with the Mission Rod and Gun Club.
