It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Douglas Edward Franklin on March 25th, 2022 at the age of 75.
Douglas will be lovingly remembered by his wife Irene, daughters Lovette, Tami (Archie), Ashley (Bill), son Warren and 7 grandchildren, Hayden, Jaren, Mica, Hilton, Katana, Diego, Quade, extended family and friends.
Doug was a Professional Engineer for 37 years. His dedication to his profession was reflected in his contribution to conferences, advisory boards, books, and inventions. His work on vibration monitoring gained him a reputation that had him sought out around the world.
He started his own consulting company in 2011.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 2 -4 pm at Fraser River Funeral Home, 2061 Riverside Road, Abbotsford.
