Obituary for Harmander Kaur Kular

Sardarni Harmander Kaur Kular, 79, of Abbotsford, passed away peacefully on Saturday October 28th.
Harmander was born on July 13th 1944 to Naginder Singh and Pritam Kaur Gill in Lyallpur Pakistan who later settled in Hakim da Bhurj Gill pind.
In 1965, Harmander married Sardar Jagir Singh Kular and immigrated to Mission BC in 1967. Harmander and Jagir went on to have two children, Amerit Kular (Sohi) and Karan-Paul (Kenny) Kular.
Harmander was predeceased by Jagir Singh Kular. She is survived by Her son Karan-Paul (Hardeep) Kular, 2 Grandsons Vishal (Jasmine) Kular and Aneel Kular. As well as her daughter Amerit (Manjit) Sohi, and 3 Grandsons Ashish, Armann and Adarsh Sohi.
Harmander was a gracious and devoted daughter, mother, aunt, and grandmother. She was strong willed and determined up until her final days. Harmanders’ greatest accomplishment was assisting her family immigrate to Canada. Harmander will be eternally missed and loved by many.
Services will be held at Fraser River Funeral Home in Abbotsford on Saturday November 4th at 12:00 pm, followed by Antim Ardass at 3pm at the Mission Gurdwara Gursikh Society. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alzheimer Society of Canada an organization to further fund Alzheimer research.
