Obituary for Manmohan Singh Bassi

Manmohan Singh Bassi was born on August 4,1967 Kamalpura, Jagraon, Punjab India. Manmohan immigrated to Canada in June 1987. He is predeceased by his father, Satpal Singh Bassi, and mother, Harbans Kaur Bassi. Manmohan leaves behind his wife Amritpal Kaur Bassi, his son, two daughters, one son in law, one grandson, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Even with his short 53 years of life he accomplished more than many could imagine. Manmohan worked hard every single day of his life to provide a life for his children and wife that only few will get to experience. He would never call into work sick no matter what and that was just his work ethic, he would work countless hours every single day to provide for his family. He loved to work-out right after work and no matter what he would go to the gym where he would always out lift his peers and he would be giving workout advice or even life advice to everyone there he was seen as a father figure and an older brother to many others around Abbotsford. You could always see him with a Tim Hortons French vanilla cup in his one hand and his dog, Rambo, in his other hand and then he would give you a smile that would melt your heart, which would show you his beautiful white teeth that would shine across the room. He had the purest heart and was one of the most giving people as he would make numerous donations throughout the years to the less fortunate/animal shelters. Manmohan was a man that no matter what you were feeling he would make sure you left with a smile by telling you countless jokes or just doing his funny English accent. He never ceased to amaze the people around him and he would always befriend anyone because he believed that even a single kind gesture towards someone you don’t know can change their day. His life was cut short and god needed him more than we did as he was gods child, we all miss you so much dad and we can’t wait to see you again with your beautiful smile, we all wish we could’ve gotten more time to spend with you, Rest in Paradise Dad we all love you and will cherish all of the memories we have made for the rest of our lives.
